The Leader’s Guide is filled with resources, tools and activities to promote healthy eating and physical activity to kids ages 9-12. The Leader’s Guide content is based on material from Kidnetic.com, a healthy eating and active living Web site for kids ages 9-12 and their parents. The content is designed to be used in community settings and does not require Internet access.

A general information section lists Web sites with useful, credible information on childhood overweight, nutrition and physical activity. An evaluation section will help you conduct pre-and post-tests for your intervention. An activity section contains 13 complete, ready-to-use activity modules that include the following:
